I'm just gonna share what I've been doing these few months of 2014. So, in January, things were a bit rushed because 'it's 2014'. I was placed in 4 Science 3, a class I didn't really liked. No, I am not going to go into detail writing about how bad that class was. But it's not because of the teachers, well, one or two of them were a bit annoying, but the class is bad, in my opinion, because of the students.
Then, I got transferred into 4 Science 1 in February. It's not that bad, but the homework I get when I entered was A LOT. It was pretty stressful, I'll admit, but everything turned out okay. Well, not everything, but you get my point.
Oh yeah, my English teacher when I was in 4 Science 3 was pretty nice, although she does need to speak up a little (said the kid who never experienced talking in front of a big crowd of people, especially during the assembly). In February, my friend who could be considered a close friend; Izzati, had to transfer into a boarding school, Sekolah Berasrama Penuh Integerasi Rawang. The school isn't exactly that far from mine, but we wouldn't be able to see each other every morning like we used to. :(
Our place caught the haze, because of some irresponsible or accidental forest fires. Alhamdulillah (Thank God), the air quality is positively improving now. Oh, and the news about the missing plane, MH370. I never actually saw how did the plane went missing, but when I saw a gif image of the radar, I almost said 'OH MY GOD' out loud. IT'S JUST SO CREEPY, MAN.
A good friend asked, "What if... the plane was found a few weeks or months after, but there was zilch signs of the passengers at all. Nothing. Only furniture (is that the suitable word?) is left. Just think about it. That would be HORRIFYING and would totally cause some chaos.
But there was an incident a lot like that, but instead of a plane, it was a ship. It happened in the 19th century. ...I guess. I DON'T REMEMBER. I SWEAR TO GOD I REMEMBER READING THAT IN A BOOK.
Oh well, nevermind...
And KABLOOIE! March's already at it's end. The celebration of me getting older is almost near. Ehehehe.
Ya' know, there are a lot of things at I've learned in life during these three months. I'm going to write one by one.
In life, I've learned that effort and determination is important. If you want something, GO FOR IT. If you really have to determination, try to make yourself to want the thing badly. The effort will automatically come to you. Seriously. History, for instance, is a subject that is quite hard for me. But if I want to score exams, I'll have to force myself to like it. My way (that actually worked!) is to write down important points you could find when you read the textbook. You read that right, the goddamn textbook. I really didn't know what got into me, but Alhamdulillah, thank God! I got 90% on my first exam. :D
Second, sometimes you just gotta do what you think is right, follow your instincts. Although it doesn't seem like it's for your own good at first, but in the end, it will.
Also, prayers and your relationship with The All Mighty God, Allah (if you're not a Muslim, well, just think of your God then). Try to be consistent and punctual with your prayers. The least is that you actually do it, albeit it being late. (IF you have a reasonable excuse for being late.) As they say, better late then never. Of course, it would be better if your prayers is a number one priority.
Your relationship with Nature and also, not to be forgotten, with humans must be at least a B minus grade. Self-explanatory, I guess? Uhhh... I'm too lazy to explain this point. Sorry.
Lastly, money isn't everything. Yes, some things that can be bought do bring happiness, but there'll be another cheaper way to be happy. You just need to dig a little deeper~ Please tell me you at least sang that. No? Boo. It was just a reference from 'The Princess and The Frog'!
Wait, no, that wasn't actually the last point. The last thing is to be grateful! I'm just gonna take a verse from the Quran for this point.
And (remember) when God proclaimed: ‘If you are grateful I will give you more (of My Blessings); but if you are ungrateful verily, My punishment is indeed severe.’ - Quran 14:7There's a book that goes deeper into this topic, 'The Magic' written by Rhonda Bryne, so I think I'll just stop this post here.
Well, that was a long blog post.
See you soon.
